Doula & artistJo Kucala, DBB/CST (she/her)Hey there! I'm Jo, the artist and body worker behind Artfully Empowered, serving the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. My inspiration to provide healing through bodywork and to spark joy through my artistry has all evolved from my experiences of becoming a mother and finding myself through art. I highly value education and am always striving to expand my knowledge. I attend and/or lead several conferences, as well as adding on new trainings/certifications each year to further grow all of my skills and build community. My certifications include: a certified natural henna artist through ICHNA, a trained birth doula through DONA, a certified Dynmaic Body Balancing (DBB/CST) Facilitator and am Certified as a Postpartum Doula through BAI.
During my free time, I enjoy exploring State Parks with my two spirited children and husband, reading, knitting and playing fetch with my two pups. |
